Who We Are
Eli Nefussy
CEO
Eli is the CEO of Sakawe Mining Corporation, a company mining for Diamonds and Phosphate in Namibia. Eli is a licensed CPA who qualified in 1988. He graduated from Tel-Aviv University with a B.A. degree in Economics and Accountancy in 1986. Between 2010 and 2011, Eli served as a consultant to a diamond mining operation in Harare, Zimbabwe and his responsibilities included the construction of a cutting and polishing factory and the training of 40 local diamond polishers. Eli has wide experience in project management, finance and hospitality, having worked as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Hachsharat Hayishuv Hotel Group and Hed Artzi Company between 1993-2000.
Kombadayedu Kapwanga
Director
Kombadayedu Kapwanga (“KK”) holds a Masters Degree in Geology and Mining Engineering from Moscow University of Geology received in 1981 and a Masters Degree in Industrial Management Sciences from the City University of London received in 1995. He joined Rio Tinto Zimbabwe in 1995 where he worked in various senior positions at Patchway and Renco gold mines. In 1989 he was transferred to Rio Tinto operations in Namibia where he also occupied senior positions at Rössing Uranium Mine. He was appointed the first Director of Mines in the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Namibia. In 1995 he joined Namibian Minerals Corporation (Namco) as its Regional Director. Namco was involved in the exploration and mining of marine diamonds and developed leading edge technology that remains in use today. In 2003 he joined Sakawe Mining Corporation (Samicor) as its Regional Director in the same field. From 2004 he has been Managing Director of LLD Diamonds Namibia and established the largest diamond manufacturing factory in Namibia. KK is director of all Samicor subsidiaries and he is currently directing the operations of Green Building Construction to develop the Windhoek Waterfront at Goreangab Dam full time.
